The 9/11 Big Lie: How they did it

Why was Popular Mechanics, a Hearst publication, so anxious to defend the government's conspiracy theory about how 9/11 happened? The magazine didn't even pretend to be neutral in its effort to debunk serious questions about government claims about how four World Trade Center skyscrapers each collapsed to the ground in four independent fluke events.

Tho the collapses were connected in time and space, each collapse scenario offered by the government was substantially different from every other one. So it took four "black swans" (wildly improbable but not totally dismissible events) in the same area and on the same day to see four towers fall straight down to ground zero.

The felled buildings were Towers 1 and 2, Tower 6, and Tower 7. NIST never investigated the crash of Tower 6, and the government has offered no official explanations as to why that building, from which Mayor Rudolf Giuliani fled moments before the collapse, was not subjected to an NIST probe.
