The Petersens, the internationally known family Bluegrass band, serves up a very fine rendition of the alt rock classic Kiss Me.
It’s both fun and stimulating to observe how the Ozarks group transforms the hit by Sixpence None the Richer into its distinctive string band form. This is something the Petersens do exceptionally well: Rearrange and grass up old Rock, Pop and Country hits (not that they don’t do traditional Grass and Gospel Bluegrass awfully nicely).
Katie is in peak form here, and she even gives us a little bit of whimsical fiddle art as a bonus during the credits roll.
