Why are mandates even in place? They're now pointless.
In any case, Trudeau has decided to let the locals take the onus for breaking up the protest -- even though vax passports affect truckers all over Canada.

Two campus police officers who were shot today at Bridgewater College in Virginia are dead, police reported.
NewsNation affiliate WRIC obtained an official email which identifies the victims as John Painter, a campus police officer, and J.J. Jefferson, a campus safety officer. The letter said the two were close friends, and Jefferson was Painter’s best man in his wedding.
One person is in police custody.
“The sadness is palpable. Words are not adequate, not nearly so, to express the grief, sadness, fear and —justifiably — the anger we all feel,” Bridgewater President David Bushman wrote in the letter.

Assange clears procedural hurdle
Julian Assange's fiance, Stella Moris, says that Assange wants his day before Britain's high court. The court has agreed that he may submit an appeal, but not that it will hear the appeal of a decision overturning his extradition victory based on late-appearing U.S. 'assurances' about how he would be treated in the United States.
Comment: The 'assurances' ploy is so novel that one can only surmise it was cooked up by someone who is overwhelmed by a desire for revenge. Let's see... Who might that be? Well, Hillary Clinton and her gang of hard-bitten lady lawyers comes to mind. I wonder how much clout Clinton exercises in Biden's Justice Department.
